Three suspected kidnappers have been arrested and beaten for allegedly abducting a young boy.

Three accused kidnappers were apprehended and brutally assaulted in Bayelsa state for allegedly kidnapping a young boy.

Miracle a.k.a. Mimi, Wari-Owei, and Emi Nokuba were reportedly members of a 6-man kidnap ring that abducted the victim at Agudama-Epie, Yenagoa on Friday afternoon, October 8.

Before releasing the victim, the accused allegedly demanded a N50,000 ransom from his family.

According to reports, the gang leader, Emi Nokuba, who is claimed to be the mastermind behind the kidnapping, was previously paraded by neighborhood youngsters for stealing diesel from a widow last year.

Miracle and Wari-Owei were apprehended on Friday night, while Nokuba was apprehended at his home in the early hours of Saturday by community teenagers.

According to Izibeyame Prudent, a community leader, the suspects were given over to the police after their “regular drilling.”

Three suspected kidnappers were arrested and brutally beaten for allegedly abducting a little boy in Bayelsa state.

It was gathered that the suspects, Miracle a.k.a Mimi, Wari-Owei and Emi Nokuba were members of a 6-man kidnap gang that abducted the victim in Agudama-Epie, Yenagoa on Friday afternoon, October 8.

The suspects allegedly collected N50,000 ransom from the victim’s family before releasing him.

According to report, the gang leader, Emi Nokuba, said to be the mastermind behind the abduction, was previously paraded by the community youths last years for stealing diesel from a widow.

Miracle and Wari-Owei were arrested on Friday night, while Nokuba was apprehended at his house by community youths in the early hours of Saturday.

According to a community leader, Izibeyame Prudent, the suspects have been handed over to the police after their ‘normal drilling’.

“THEY KIDNAPPED THE BOY ON REDEEM GLORY STREET AND MOVED HIM TO AN UNFINISHED BUILDING ON WINNER’S STREET IN AGUDAMA-EPIE, YENAGOA.”

“IT MAY BE OF INTEREST TO YOU THAT THE SAID EMI NOKUBA WAS PARADED BY THE COMMUNITY YOUTHS LAST YEAR WHEN HE STOLE DIESEL FROM A WIDOW.”

“EMI NOKUBA WAS ARRESTED AT HIS HOME IN THE EARLY HOURS OF SATURDAY BY THE COMMUNITY YOUTHS. AFTER OUR NORMAL DRILLING, HE WAS HANDED OVER TO POLICE.”
