The Independent National Electoral Commission’s announcement of the results of the presidential election held on February 25, 2023 has been denied by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
On March 1st, INEC announced that Tinubu had won the poll.
Damian Okeke-Ogene, the organization’s National Vice President, said in a statement that the results were marred by “monumental irregularities” and the commission’s failure to follow its rules when conducting the poll. He advised Nigerians to maintain their composure and added that the 2023 presidential poll might not have been announced yet.
