Five people were injured when a one-story building collapsed in Asaba
At least five people were injured when a one-story building collapsed. The incident’s victims have been taken to the hospital for treatment. Several bags of rice were offloaded into the top floor of the building earlier in the day, according to witnesses. However, it was impossible to determine what caused its demise. Efforts have also been increased at the collapsed building, which is directly across the street from the popular Emeka Ofor Plaza and close to St. Patrick College. Mr Patrick Ukah, Secretary to the State Government, was also on the scene to assess the extent of the damage caused by the collapse. According to Ukah, the injured victims are currently being treated at a nearby hospital. He, on the other hand, dismissed theories about what caused the collapse.
